KitClan's Opening Tommorow!
Kay, guys, I'm feeling better now. Herb and I will still be in contact, and she'll be RPing at KitClan ^.^ I don't know about Dew, but I hope she and I can still email each other.
KitClan is still scheduled to open tommorow!!! I'm going to work my tail off all day today. I also made a new page yesterday, "Userbars", which are graphics I finally learned how to make. I was going to show Dew, since I was so proud of myself, but I don't know if I'll ever talk to her again... :'(
Anyway, I'm going to get KitClan open. Make sure to check back tommorow to see the URL!!! Staff, please remember to check your email a few more times!!! I'm full of excitement, so I'd better shut up and hurry off.
Before I do that, however, I would like to also mention that my friend Willowleaf has closed her site as well. This makes me even more sad... Willow was a great friend and she had an awesome site. I hope we'll stay in contact, but she doesn't have an email she can use to email me... :( A lot of websites are closing now, but I guess I never thought it would be people I was close to. But I'm going to try to work even harder on KitClan. I don't want to disappoint everyone who's still been waiting, possibly for the only site that still has a chance of being up. Luckily, there are a few other sites that are trying to stay resolutely open. StarClan's Essence, Robiny's site (see COTS), and my friend Pumakit is also opening a new site. Still, it feels a little bit like the golden age of Warriors webdesign has faded. But we can teach all the new fans HTML and CSS, and hopefully other amazing sites will pop up soon.
It's a sad present right now, but the future is looking up. Anyone with me?

Still A'Cryin
I guess I should have posted sooner. I've worked every day. I'm almost ready for KitClan to open. But that doesn't really matter right now.
I just found out that Dew and Herb, two of my closest online friends, have shut down their sites. They're gone. Herb is still going to be around a bit. I don't know about Dew. I'm crying while I'm typing. I just clicked on their links for fun before I got off. This day just became awful.
I understand that they are becoming less interested in Warriors. I understand that they've got to that point where they want to go on with their lives. But I'm going to miss them so much. I'm about to start sobbing now. They were the first two people who I met who owned cool graphic sites. That weren't just for RPing. We chatted together so many times. I almost feel like someone has died. I hate the pages where it says that they're gone the most. I want those pages to go away.
Dew and Herb, if you're reading this, I want to stay in contact with you somehow. I'm still crying, but it'll be better if I know you didn't go without saying goodbye. I don't know if KitClan will open on Saturday. I might open it this coming Friday instead. My friends leaving just hit me really hard. *cries harder* But I will keep going. Still a'workin
Yup, I'm going to work on KitClan again today. I still haven't changed the COTS, because nobody besides Herb herself appears to have seen it V.V
I finished going through the Terms of Use, and now it's ah lot shorter and neater. I decided to take off the whole points thing, so I'm going to take the points off of the Members page today. I also took off the secret word, so I have to get rid of that on the form to join. By the way, which do you prefer-- using a form to join or using a guestbook/comment box? I'm thinking of going back to the old comment box way, but I don't know. I changed the big, long explanation on RPing literately/advancedly/properly/whateveryouwannacallit to a short sentence that says something like, "KitClan is a literate role-play. If you don't know how to RP literately or you're not sure what literate RP is, please click here." So I'm going to type up a tutorial on how to do literate role-play tonight. Whoppee for me.
Mmm, I'm checking my grades on the Internet while typing this. I still have all A's so far. ^^ Hurray! OMG, I have an A in Choir, even after performance tests!!! *square dances* Usually I get a high B, but this time I have an A. Yesssss, it says I got all A's on my report card for the quarter. Only one quarter left of school O_o Time sure flies, huh?
Lately, I've been getting all emotional. NO, I don't mean emo, when apparently you cut your wrists because it makes you feel happy -_- I don't get it, cause I love life and can't imagine not being alive, but back to my original point. I've cried every day this past week, except on Sunday (thank god for spending the day with my friend, the one girl I'm always comfortable with). I didn't cry today, but I came close to it. I don't even know why I'm crying so much :( You would think that I would be as dry as the Sahara Desert by now. I'm just so sick of school and feeling like I have to act cool, around my own friends, for the love of fish! And I feel like some other kids are just so much better than I am at everything, and it makes me depressed. *cough*(codename)Feathertail*cough*
So that's my wierd bloggish post for the day. Please comment ^^

KitClan...
Hola, mi lufferly amigos!
Yup, just been workin' on KitClan some more... *hums "Been Workin' On The Railroad"* I made the Website Layouts page, and added little notes in the coding for the premade layout. Then I started working on the Terms Of Use, because it needed to be majorly redone (and I haven't even opened the site yet <.<). Then the phone rang last night, and my friend wanted to know if I wanted to come have a sleepover, so I was like, "Sure!" So I played at her house until 5:30. Yup, I was there for forever.
But because I'm a good Lighty, I decided to keep working on KitClan, and make another blog post. ^^ I also checked the premade layout on my friend's computer in Firefox, and it works just fine. So I'm going to try and finish the Terms of Use tonight, and possibly start going through my email. Wish moi luck!

New Premade Layout
Hey all!
I'm really, seriously, very sorry for being gone for two whole weeks! I've been so busy in the real world, I haven't had any time to devote to KitClan. I was also feeling like I might put KitClan on hold indefinitely, but I'm going to try to get it up this coming weekend. It'll be my spring break, and I'll be able to get on really often. *three cheers for Lighty!*
I made a new premade layout for KitClan. I think it works in other browsers, but I haven't checked it yet on school computers in Firefox and Safari, and BrowserShots is majorly slow, so I don't know yet. It is definitely the best I've ever made, probably better than my layout on KitClan itself! I was actually just experimenting in PhotoShop with the head image, and then I decided to put the head image in a layout, so I did that (PhotoShop was awfully stupid on a few things, so it took forever), and then I said to myself, "Lighty, why don't you actually code this layout instead of procrastinating on KitClan?" So I coded it real quick, and it turned out really beautiful, if I do say so myself ^^ It's lavender/purple, with a really pretty cat, and it's really simplistic. It's called "Butterflies and Blossoms", and right now I'm going to put it on the Website Layouts page. The only brushes I used were from Smiley Helper, but it turned out so cute!
E-nuff bragging about my *cough*bad*cough* skills in PhotoShop, although I would like to say that I made it Dawncloud-style, very different from my usual way. It's delicate and, like I said, simplistic with the head image fading into the content box. Beauty-full-ness!
Anyway, I'm off to put it on a page for premade layouts! And I'll work on KitClan, mainly to get it ready for its wonderful spring opening. The spring opening thing also means that the Extras page will most likely not be finished in time, so I'll work on it while the site is up. I'm sick of not having KitClan in my life, and I know if I don't open it soon, I never will.
By the way, please do not send me any emails. I've been procrastinating about checking my email again. :P Bad Lighty.

Ugh... Sickness
Hey guys... although I guess we're actually all girls xD
Anyway, I'm so sorry for not posting an earlier entry last Friday! I feel so guilty. My life has been uberly-busy. Now we have the state tests this week, and it's horrible. Every year that these tests come around, I get really sick from stress. Being the geek-ish person I am, I always get all Advanced's, but my subconscious tries to kill me. :P So of course, I'm sitting here coughing in a bathrobe, bursting with a fever. Well, actually, I took Advil this morning, so it's not that bad. The point is, it's very unlikely I'll be able to do much online for at least a week. I also keep feeling guilty for not working on KitClan, and Pinchkit doesn't help-- he keeps asking when it's going to come up.
Pinchkit had an interesting idea as well-- he thinks that the RP KitClan and the graphics KitClan should be split up, instead of all being crammed together. I considered this-- I could have a splash page leading to the graphics and then to RP, and they would have different kinds of layouts. What's your take on this?
Thanks for all your comments and stuff ^^ I'm probably going to skip school tommorow, because there aren't any tests until Tuesday, so I possibly may be able to get on. Oh, and expect a review on Dewy's website, Dewy Graphics, soon! Thanks for volunteering to be reviewed, Dew!

Not-So-Brilliant Title
Er... yeah. This is more of going to be a blogish entry than an updateish entry.
KitClan Stuff- Eh, not much done. I replied to all emails, so feel free to finally be able to email me ^^ My uperly-amazing new staff member did some staffish stuff. She also submitted some blogs to my blog collection. However, they have SunnyNeo's weird coding thing, so we're a-gonna have to fix that.
Lighty's Blog Stuff- I did some work on this blog itself. Look at the little column thing besides this entry and you'll see it. Does it look cool?
Pride Cats Stuff- The amazing Pumakit owns Pride Cats, a really fun site about a "Pride" of wild cats that are descended from lions. You can also be a loner descended from panthers, cheetahs, leopards, etc. I love the site, and I'm a moderator of it. I hadn't RPed there for about a month *gulp* until the day before yesterday, and I was horrified to see she had last updated it on January 18th. So I updated, and updated again yesterday, and I'm about to update again tonight. Anyway, I made three graphics for it too. I'd really appreciate it if you could join, since it's become pretty inactive. *sigh* I'm Vulpecula, Canis, and Lupus on there if you're interested.
Bloggish Entry Stuff- First, I want to say that I noticed that Willowleaf is holding a drawing contest. I'm seriously considering entering, even though the cats I draw suck xD Next, I joined Smiley Helper's forum things. It only has a few members right now, but it seems like a lot of fun. I'm Kat Hale on there, so if you join, say hi! ;)
I feel the itching to review somebody. Does anybody want to submit themselves to a horrible nitpicking? LOL, I doubt it. I can review any part of your site you want, or the whole thing. I won't be too harsh ^^
I was reading Sunny Neo's Fontmaker Wall of Shame, and it's actually really hilarious. I mean, the stealers think up the stupidest excuses. You should read it *snickers* Okay, I'm revealing my bad side, so maybe I should stop...
OMG, I'm going to school tommorow. Will my crush have known that the flower cards had my handwriting on it? Will he say anything to me about it? Will he have brought the dragon he promised me (he makes origami dragons-- I called him his favorite nickname, "Gecko," instead of my favorite nickname for him, "Starfish," for a week to prove I could and then he said he would finally give me one like I wanted)? Ugh, I'm having a traumatic moment here.

Valentine's Day
Ugh. I couldn't think of a better title XD
Hey guys, how are you all? Sorry for not updating yesterday... there was a Valentine's Day dance at 8:00, and I spent two and a half hours getting ready for it XD It's fun to dress up once in awhile. It was a lot of fun, even though the stupid DJ people were only playing rap :P Eww. I hate rap. We even gave them a request list but they didn't do anything with it. Anyway, it was still fun because a bunch of my friends were there, and we danced with some guys. Not the kind where a guy asks you to dance, but where two guys randomly keep butting into your dance circle. Everyone at my school pretty much celebrated Valentine's Day yesterday. My friend got a bouquet of flowers from one of my guy friends, and then I encouraged him to ask her out. Actually, I told him to ask her to be his valentine, but he didn't ^^ LOL. But then she said no, and the poor guy was, like, heartbroken. He'll be over it on Tuesday, though (we have Monday off), 'cause he always gets over girls super fast. And then at the end of the day everybody got flowers. See, at my school, you can order flowers for somebody-- it's a dollar a flower. And then during seventh period on or right before Valentine's Day, Student Council will go around and give everyone the flowers. I got five, three from friends, one from a teacher (lol-- my Spanish teacher, who also happens to play ice hockey with my mom), and one from my Tiggle Winkle (actually my parents). And I ordered five for the guy I like O_o I didn't sign my name, but I wonder if he'll recognize my handwriting or not. He probably will-- he sits next to me in Math and we're always teasing each other. So that's the end of my Valentine trauma.
Sadly, I didn't work on KitClan at all this past week, though last weekend I started the Extras page, and the Cbox smiley page. It also turns out that aligning the Dancing Shamrocks layout to the left caused it to be messed up in every browser except Internet Explorer. So I pretty much exploded at my goshdang computer, and I'm going to someday redo all the layouts. But not now. Someday in the distant future when KitClan is open ;) So tonight I've added the codes for Smiley Set 1, and I made a Smiley Set 2 and added codes for it too. And then I explained what they were for and how to use them and stuff ^^ So now I'm finished with the "Emoticons" page, as it's called. The smilies are orange and green (not default colors) and they have ears. I also have plans to make animated ones, rainbow colored ones, and other colored ones in the distant future. I think it's gonna be a fairly popular thing, which, no doubt, other sites will start copying my idea XD But it actually takes a long time to make a set. I have to change the colors of each smiley on Photoshop, save it as "smileya1" or something like that, upload them to TinyPic, and then copy and paste each code onto a table and underneath the "Codes" button thing.
That's pretty much it. I'm going to try to go through my email tonight. Wish me luck ^^ I promise I'll post another entry tommorow, so let me know of any ideas for smilies or KitClan in general, kay?

And I ordered five for the guy I like O_o I didn't sign my name, but I wonder if he'll recognize my handwriting or not. He probably will-- he sits next to me in Math and we're always teasing each other. So that's the end of my Valentine trauma.
Sadly, I didn't work on KitClan at all this past week, though last weekend I started the Extras page, and the Cbox smiley page. It also turns out that aligning the Dancing Shamrocks layout to the left caused it to be messed up in every browser except Internet Explorer. So I pretty much exploded at my goshdang computer, and I'm going to someday redo all the layouts. But not now. Someday in the distant future when KitClan is open ;) So tonight I've added the codes for Smiley Set 1, and I made a Smiley Set 2 and added codes for it too. And then I explained what they were for and how to use them and stuff ^^ So now I'm finished with the "Emoticons" page, as it's called. The smilies are orange and green (not default colors) and they have ears. I also have plans to make animated ones, rainbow colored ones, and other colored ones in the distant future. I think it's gonna be a fairly popular thing, which, no doubt, other sites will start copying my idea XD But it actually takes a long time to make a set. I have to change the colors of each smiley on Photoshop, save it as "smileya1" or something like that, upload them to TinyPic, and then copy and paste each code onto a table and underneath the "Codes" button thing.
That's pretty much it. I'm going to try to go through my email tonight. Wish me luck ^^ I promise I'll post another entry tommorow, so let me know of any ideas for smilies or KitClan in general, kay?

Donkey-Walking
Hiyas! My darling Pumakit, where are you? You didn't post a comment on the last entry... *sniffle* Anyway, first to the KitClan stuff!
Ironically, right after I posted the entry from a week ago, I suddenly got my rear in gear, as it were XD I finished the Blogs page and the blog, which looks uperly-amazing (the scrollbar looks really cool =D), and then I did the Requests page, The Request Pick-Up page, and the Stock Linkbacks page. I made 11 new stock linkback things, which is actually a lot :) There's two sets of four and one set of three. Each set was taken from the same picture, but I used different brushes/changed the eye color. You can look at one from each set:
I tried to use the kind of delicate style, sort of like the graphics made by Summerscent (Serenity Warriors) and Dawncloud (StarClan's Essence), instead of my usual, sort of bold style, if you know what I mean. I think the new stock things are much better than my old ones, and I'm considering taking the old ones off because they really aren't special in any way. Now I'm going to finish the last page for graphics, the Website Layouts! I tried to figure out how to center a layout again yesterday, and then I tried about an hour ago, but the stupid computer isn't appreciating my efforts. So for now I'm just putting my new premade, "Dancing Shamrocks," to the left. It doesn't look quite as good that way, but whatever, I'm sick of trying to make it centered. If anyone knows how to center a layout properly, please let me know!
"Dancing Shamrocks" is the only layout that will be up for use, because the "Wild Angels" one sucked (I'm gonna redo it someday) and the "Love Story" layout isn't cross-browser yet (I also did massive changes to it-- it's now aligned on the left as well, and the menus were resized). So my daddy was on a business trip this week, for 3-4 days. He got back at two in the morning yesterday ^^ My parents always go on a walk up our road every night just for fun and exercise. I don't usually go with them, but I feel bad when my mom is at a quilt retreat and my dad has to do it alone or, as was the case this week, my dad is on a business trip and my mom has to walk by herself. One of our dogs is always too lazy and he just sleeps all day, and the other one (our German Shepherd) is extremely hyper but has this... er... problem of trying to kill other dogs whenever she sees them (our neighbors are terrified of her), so neither dog ever comes on walks anymore. Anyway, I was debating on riding my pony on Wednesday, and then I thought of riding her on the walk instead. My mom thought this was a good idea, so when we got home from school, I ate a snack and then caught my pony and started to tack up. My mom came out eventually and helped me finish, and then we felt bad for my donkey, because he was staring at his girlfriend sadly and not wanting her to leave ;) So we decided to take him with us. He isn't trained for riding, so we just took his halter and put it on his head, and then pulled him out of the corral. So we went on the walk with me riding my Tiggle Winkle and my mom walking with our donkey on the lead rope. At one point we ran into one of our neighbors and his dog. The dog was really curious but was keeping her distance and barking, but our donkey didn't like that at all. So he was about to trample her when my mom jerked on the lead rope and he stopped. It was pretty funny, though. On Thursday, we did it again but our donkey kept stopping. If you don't know, donkeys are seriously really stubborn, and if they don't want to move, you sure as heck aren't going to make them. We got him to keep walking, but it was just to hard.
Go donkey-walking sometime! It's quite fun, our donkey is just like our lazy dog xD

Hey guys, how are you? ^^ I'm pleased to see that people still know I exist XD
So first, why I didn't update Friday. Well, I checked the comments on Thursday (I've been keeping up ;D), and then on Friday I tried to post a new entry and some comments. Of course, stupid Blogspot wouldn't let me x-( So I tried again on Saturday. And *drum roll* IT STILL WOULDN'T LET ME! I'm learning to be very wary of Blogspot.
The point is, I'm posting now, so I can now tell you about our beloved KitClan. I actually did some work on Saturday-- I did the Avatars page, and I started the Blogs page. I made an image for a new blog, and I went to SunnyNeo.com and looked at their blog tutorial, which usually helps. And of course, after messing around with the stupid blog for about 45 minutes, I was forced to accept it wasn't working. By that time I was pretty *ALERTALERTALERT-SEMISWEARWORDDONOTREAD* pissed *ALERTALERTALERT-SEMISWEARWORDSAIDCONTINUEREADING*, but I knew that RiverClan Secrets has a blog tutorial too, so I decided to take a shower and then finish the blog. Obviously, if you know me, you'll know I'm a total procrastinator ^^ so when I got out of the shower I didn't feel like finishing the blog. Then today, I was procrastinating again and didn't feel like working, so I didn't do anything for KitClan. But maybe if somebody gives me some constructive criticism on my blog image, I'll feel obliged to finish it (heck, maybe I'll just finish it after this post XD). So here's the image:
I haven't yet gone through my email, so please continue to hold off on emailing me, and try to remember what you emailed me about in the first place while I work up the bravery to tackle 6 emails XD However, I would like to say this: STOP SENDING ME THE DARN CHAIN MAIL! OMG I HATE CHAIN MAIL AND I DELETE EVERY BIT I SEE! I KNOW YOU WANT ME TO KNOW I'M IN YOUR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS OR WHATEVER BUT I HATE THE *gagsonswearword* STUFF!
Okay... sorry... whoo... I just had to get that out of my system. I don't think anyone who's commented has actually sent me chain mail, but in case you're reading this and you have, please stop. You might have notice that I didn't forward it back to you. Chain mail is next to spam in my book, and I do not get on well with spammers. If you continue I'll probably end up marking your emails as spam and Gmail will send them to the "Spam" section. It just clogs up my email.
I probably won't be able to post until this coming Friday, but who knows? I might be able to get on sometime during the week. =D It's 'cause I love you all so much. Aren't you lucky? By the way, Dew, do some sort of update. I keep visitin' and you haven't updated for about 4 days :'(
For those of you who care, I have a cold. It's awful-- my throat is on fire and my nose is stuffy. I've also realized that there's a funny taste in my mouth whenever I'm sick. Yech.
I think I've said about everything... Oh, I found this great site called www.skuisi.net. It's so much fun to go onto. It even has an interesting article about how darn stupid chain mail is ^^ I have to go feed my pony 'cause it's pretty dark out now.

Lighty Luffs Photoshop
Hey all! It's been 9 days since my last entry *gasps*. I'm so sorry, but as you probably already know if you're reading this, I have tons of schoolwork. But I'm actually updating today, on a Tuesday!!! *applauds herself* I've had a bunch of stupid homework, but I've finished it all and had time to get on the computer, finally. I actually tried to get on to post an new entry here on Sunday, but Blogspot wasn't working :'( What with all the homework, I haven't been very high on KitClan-excitement, but I made 6 avatars today, and I hope to get the avatar page up ASAP.
My first 5 avatars are just Clan ones, and I made an additional "KitClan Fan" one. I've made a LOT of progress in Photoshop, I found out how to actually-actually-seriously put a gradient on my text. I have it seriously nailed down now ^^ I also figured out how to download fonts!!! So I used Scriptina a bunch just for fun, since it wasn't on the hundreds of default fonts. Here, you can see 2 of the avatars cuz I'm so nice:
So... uh... other then that, I haven't really done much for KitClan. I had a very busy weekend, because I went on a shopping spree (I seriously spent $200) for craft stuff and my very own IPod on Saturday while Pinchkit went to a birthday party. Then on Sunday I invited my friend who lives closest to me (2 1/2 miles away) to come and hang out. So we played with my newly bought crafts and started to film our very own radio show. Then my dad was mean and said she had to leave after she had only been here for about 5 hours. XD Anyways, that was a lot of fun. After she left, I played with my lufferly Photoshop.
By the way, if you're wondering "WHEN WILL KITCLAN OPEN?" and "WHY ISN'T LIGHTY OPENING IT IF SHE ALREADY HAS THE RPG SECTION DONE?" my answer is that I really won't be able to handle opening right now. Plus I'll procrastinate on the getting the graphics and extra sections up, which I know you don't care about, but I will care about it. Having to add more pages while people are already RPing will lower my enthusiasm. And I'll go on hiatus again. And you get the point. I'm trying, I really am, but you have to blame my teachers for not working on mi favorito Clan. Besides, if I open it now while I have so much homework, I'll just never come on. So, the point is, I hope it'll be up in mid-February, but don't hold me to that. You know how I keep lengthening this. So sorry, guys, really. I love KitClan as much as you all do, and I'm trying ;)

That's right, guys, I'm working on KitClan again!!! It's only about 11:00 here, but I've redone the layout. Don't worry, it's the same one as I was planning on having, only it's much neater and the page will just scroll down if I type more text than on the navigation bar, so there aren't any ugly scrolling bars on some of the pages, if you have any clue what I mean. Oh well, my staff members and the people who snuck in to look at it probably see what I mean. You bad sneakers! Anyways, I also took the butterfly/flower background off, because it was distracting, so now it's just a pretty pale green background. The layout also loads a lot faster. It took a lot of tinkering to accomplish all of that, but with trusty ol' Photoshop, Tinypic, and my external stylesheet, I got it all done.
I also finished the blinkies page. I added my kittypet blinkie to it, and Pumakit's prize. Do you mind, dear Puma? I loved yours so much I just had to put it on there. Oh, that reminds me, you haven't seen your prize yet! Here it is:
I hope you like it, I personally luff it <3 Feel free to stick it on your website, and yell at me if you don't want other people to be able to use it.
So, as I was saying, I didn't really add that much to the blinkies page, but I did take the ugly white border off of my KitClan blinkie before I put it on. I also figured out how to get to and use the ImageReady thing that comes with Photoshop. It is SO much easier than using Blibs, because each animation frame is just a layer. So instead of having to go to Blibs, uploading 17 images or whatever, and then trying to change the frame timing, I just plop it on my trust Photoshop, make the white stuff transparent, and save it using the ImageReady thing. I LUFF YOU, ADOBE!!!
All in all, it was a very productive morning. I'll probably work more on it this afternoon, but I need to take a shower and play with my darling pettie-poos. A.K.A, the Tiggle-Winkle, the Cheesey-poo, the Brownie-poo, and the Wacky Jacky. Yeah, I give my pets strange nicknames. I also need to tell my poor little puppy to shut up and not bark at my Tiggle-Winkle and Wacky Jacky. Anyways, I'm speaking nonsense now, so I really ought to leave o_O Just to let you know, I have tommorow off because of MLK day, so I can work on KitClan more, and on my *gulp* homework. This afternoon I'll also go through my email, which I've been neglecting again. So please, send me no emails until I respond to your old ones ^^

I'm Back!
From where? Oh, I'm back from being gone for 10 days... sorry about not being in contact, guys. I just managed to get through a whole full week of school, and I've had a lot of homework. I've also actually realized I still have pets in the winter, and I've been hanging out with my pony, donkey, two chickens, and I've paid more attention to my precious doggies. In case you don't know, you can tell pets pretty much anything, but often you don't even have to. I was going to originally rant away to my pony, but just her delicious fuzzy-hay-scent calms me down and I feel I can communicate with her telepathically ;)
So the point is that this blog isn't going to be much of a blog. Granted, I'll still tell you about my day, but I won't rant very much. I'm trying to spend time with all my pets and give them equal love and attention, which doesn't bode well for KitClan. With the time between reading, playing my Nintendo DS, homework, school, and pets, I'll try to work on KitClan. I'll mainly talk about KitClan from here on out, and you guys will be able to help me!
As for the prizes for the concert winners, Puma, I'm having issues with yours :( I'm sorry it's taking so long, yours is pretty cute but it isn't working x-( I'll try to get the link up ASAP.
The winner of the Shrek contest is... HERB!!! Congrats, Herb, you guessed the Gingerbread Man! "Starfish", my friend/non-friend/wierd-person, is this dude who I sit next to in Math. He's pretty hilarious, in a way I can't describe. Anyways, Starfish dressed up as the Gingerbread Man for Halloween, so that was the Shrek character that had randomly popped into my head. The point is, Herb, you won! Here's your prize!
Ugh, I don't sound like my Lightyself. The only KitClan thing I can think of right now is that I'm already getting bored of the new layout. It's pretty and green and blue, but it loads slowly because it's image-based. I also feel that it's a bit overdone. Do you guys have any ideas for what I should do? I do like it, I just feel bored with it... Maybe that's because I see it everytime I go online, because it's set as my home page o_O Anyways, thoughts?

So the point is that this blog isn't going to be much of a blog. Granted, I'll still tell you about my day, but I won't rant very much. I'm trying to spend time with all my pets and give them equal love and attention, which doesn't bode well for KitClan. With the time between reading, playing my Nintendo DS, homework, school, and pets, I'll try to work on KitClan. I'll mainly talk about KitClan from here on out, and you guys will be able to help me!
As for the prizes for the concert winners, Puma, I'm having issues with yours :( I'm sorry it's taking so long, yours is pretty cute but it isn't working x-( I'll try to get the link up ASAP.
The winner of the Shrek contest is... HERB!!! Congrats, Herb, you guessed the Gingerbread Man! "Starfish", my friend/non-friend/wierd-person, is this dude who I sit next to in Math. He's pretty hilarious, in a way I can't describe. Anyways, Starfish dressed up as the Gingerbread Man for Halloween, so that was the Shrek character that had randomly popped into my head. The point is, Herb, you won! Here's your prize!
Ugh, I don't sound like my Lightyself. The only KitClan thing I can think of right now is that I'm already getting bored of the new layout. It's pretty and green and blue, but it loads slowly because it's image-based. I also feel that it's a bit overdone. Do you guys have any ideas for what I should do? I do like it, I just feel bored with it... Maybe that's because I see it everytime I go online, because it's set as my home page o_O Anyways, thoughts?

Snow Day
No way. YES WAY! Today, as any Lighty-obssessed freak should know, was my day to go back to school. And we got a snow day for the first time all year! So I did get to devote my day KitClan <3 I re-re-did the "Awards" page, because it was messy the way I typed it up, and it looks much better now. My secret staff member is going to go through the members page to delete inactive kits as well, and I went through all the emails in my inbox. Applaud me v.v
So now I can actually send anyone an email. How great is that? I feel much better now that I got through all that stuff. I also worked on the KitClan forum but unfortunately I haven't figured out how to get the "Hi this is my forum blah blah blah" at the top. Please, I'm begging you, if you know how to do that, please tell me! I also made my own little icons for the navigation instead of the icky ones that are default. Oh, and I got two gifts from Willow and Dewy, as well as a cute little blinkie from Willow. So when I re-re-did my Awards page, I added the gifts (which were holiday greetings) and then I stuck the blinkie, which says "Lighty", on the Staff page. Oh, and my secret staff member told me the stuff to put on their profile.
Oh, right, I promised I would tell you who got my warrior name right. The lucky person is... PUMAKIT, who guessed "Lightblossom"!!! Congrats, Puma, I'm going to make you the promised blinkie after I finish this entry ^^ New contest: Erm... I'm thinking of a character from Shrek. If you guess the right one, you'll get... a special pixel of yourself!
I'd just like to thank you all for reading my blog and commenting. I used to not really get the point of a blog, and even when I had my MYSTICSOUL one, I didn't have a thing where you could comment directly at each entry, so I didn't get the full satisfaction of having one. Now, however, I've learned that having a blog helps me get everything out, and it's very nice to have people comment and tell me a little bit about how they're alike and different from me. It's really fun and just a nice thing in general, and I've also found links to my friends' blogs, so I can read their entries as well. It's actually really great to be able to look at the world through someone else's eyes, and to comment and tell them how I think of things. So thanks for commenting, and if you don't have a blog yet, I think you should just try having one.
We had a power outage for about four hours today. During the last hour, we turned on our generator, so I got to go on the computer again, and now we have power. Sadly, however, I was chatting with one of my friends on Gmail and then the power suddenly went out for a few seconds. When my computer finally restarted and I logged in again, she had logged out :'( *sniffle* Oh, well, I'll see her at school tommorow.
I'm running out of things to blog about, so I'm going to go make Puma's blinkie, and then I'll go and take a shower. Luff ya,

Tommorow = School
Yes, tommorow I go back to school. I've had two and a half weeks of vacation, which is clearly ah lot, but that doesn't mean that I'm missing homework or classes. True, I miss my friends, but I'd rather just stay around, ride my horse, and work on KitClan. Luckily, I'm prepared, and I've had my old bag that was about to fall apart replaced with a sturdy new one, and I've gone through my pencil bag, filled it with new pencils and pens, and reorganized so I can easily separate my markers, highlighters, pencils/pens, and other school stuff. My outfit is also planned out and right nearby, and I'm going to go to bed earlier tonight so I can sleep longer. I'm going to take a shower after I post this entry as well. I've also got my nails perfectly painted (so they don't look ratty XD) and I've worked on my confidence over break, as well as my hair *huggles her red hair streak*. Things I'm not looking forward to, though, are:
-Seeing my ex-boyfriend again. And knowing he still likes me *gulp*
-Seeing my arch-enemy, code warrior name: Deadhead.
-Homework. It takes away precious KitClan time! O_o
-Classes. I don't look forward to having to memorize about eight different songs in Choir, learning new hard Science stuff, preparing for a district assessment in World Geography, etc...
-Having seven hours a day wasted (no, that doesn't include lunch) -_-
On the other hand, lunch will be great. We have no food in this household, and I'm starving as I type!
Now that I'm done complaining about school, I'm going to buddy-complain. Well, I have a friend who's called me about three or four times over break. I kinda forgot to call her back for a couple of days, but I did end up leaving a message on her answering machine. She doesn't appear to have gotten it, though, or else she would've already called back (she's that kind of person). Then I was going through my email today, looking for the response for the support ticket I sent to Webs about the chatbox thing (guess what? I deleted enough chain mail, animal help emails, Webs emails, and Facebook things [I'm not going to go onto Facebook anymore, I think it's pointless] that I got 100-something emails down to 29 ^^). And I saw an email at the very top from her and the preview thing said something along the lines of "Are you mad at me? I hope not..." and I didn't have time to type out an email (well, because I'm going to see her tommorow anyway XD). So at school she's going to be bugging me about why I didn't respond to her calls (which I did) and if I'm angry at her (I'm not) and she's not going to believe I called her back and left a message, cuz this happened once before and she was sure that she hadn't seen a message so I must be wierd and super-forgetful and I hadn't called her (which I HAD!) So now I get to try and tell her I did reply, and she didn't see it, and I'm not losing my mind, and I'm not angry. Oh, StarClan, help me!
One last thing-- I'm making a KitClan forum for the "Your Story" page at Proboards. I can't figure out how to have the welcome thing at the top saying what it is, etc. Do you know anything that could help me figure this out?

Red Streaks Rule
Hey guys, it's yours truly, Lighty! So first, to explain the title, "Red Streaks Rule".
I went shopping with my daddy on the weekend (yeah, my dad, of all people). We went to a salon and I was going to get a purple streak except even after about two hours of trying on different purples, none of them were working on my hair. So instead I got a red one, and it looks so cool. I also got my hair trimmed for the first time in... well... years. I'm actually not exaggerating, the last time I got my hair trimmed was in the third grade XD Anyways, my bangs are a lot fuller now, and they look cool ^^ I also got two new outfits at Target, and one of them I'm going to where to school, which starts on Wednesday *gulps* One shirt is green, and it's the kind with a solid color underneath and an attatched see-through thing. The other top is a cute dark red spaghetti strap with a white yarn/wool/SOMETHING jacket. And I got two new pairs of jeans with the tops.
Yay, I got comments from Robinleaf and Pumakit!!! I also realized that you have to have a Google Account or a Google-powered account thing to leave a comment. So either only two people currently have a Google Account who come to KitClan, or the rest of you have abandoned it and don't check back for updates XD Anyways, the color was PURPLE, not indigo, and my warrior name will not be Lightbreeze, Lightsoul, Lightheart, or Lightessence (Lightessence, Robin? O_o Um... interesting! Though I do like Lightsoul...)

I was feeling bored the other day, so I made a little website called Hidden Sparkles. Don't worry, I'm probably never going to do anything with it and certainly won't let it replace KitClan. I just felt like experimenting with making a layout. Too late I realized that it could have been a premade, but I had already put the words "Hidden Sparkles" on the layout. Anyways, you can see it here. Please tell me if you like the layout! If anyone wants to have a website called Hidden Sparkles, tell me, and then we'll discuss it. If you really do want it, then I'll give you the site, along with the layout, splash, and avatar.
What else... oh yes, our washing machine broke. So I'm going to have to be careful about just wearing one outfit a day XD I don't want to go to school and wear something that's too small, hehehe. It's a good thing I just got two new outfits, eh?
I'm still welcoming any guesses for my warrior name. I'll make a blinkie for you if you get it ^^
By the way, what do you think is a really sad song? I think that "Holy Water" by Big & Rich and "Travelin' Soldier" by the Dixie Chicks are definitely two of the saddest songs I've ever heard. On the other hand, name a song you love as well. I'm feeling musical-ish right now! ^^

Hey, guys! Welcome to the one and only blog of Lighty. This is just a temporary place for me to complain and rant about things until KitClan comes back up. You'll also be able to actually talk to me here + we can communicate without me checking my email XD
So, let's start talking about nothing. Why "ehgh" for my title. Well, I'm happy enough to hug my computer and angry enough to punch it right now. Good news first. I figured out BlogSpot like, immediately! ^^ Three cheers for me! I also made the Join page on KitClan, and it pretty much works (only it's kind of hard to figure out what the join is on the form sent to the staff email: it says something along the lines of 'ajbl;akjgl;ji : Lightkit' and 'eiupoibjljh : Pretty white she-cat' scattered all around the email the staff gets. It's easier when you know how to piece it together, but the kit's name ends up at the bottom and the secret word near the top, etc.
Anyways, it's not the Join page that's bothering me, or the home page (I retyped it-- it needed a couple of edits anyways). My issue is that Webs STILL won't let me create a chatbox!!! OMG! It makes me so mad that I can't finish the territory pages yet. So, other KitClan stuff... I'll give you a couple of hints:

- There's a new premade layout. It's green, and a wierd style ^^ But I ah-dore it, and I figured out how to make DIVs with scrollbars without using I-frames (pretty pathetic I didn't know yet, huh?) Its centering is kinda wierd, so I'm just going to stick it on the left instead of the middle. A couple of people got to see it a couple of weeks ago, so NO sharing the URL, you guys.
- The new layout is green and blue, and it's called "Dreaming of Paradise", because I love summer colors XD
- There will be at least ONE new goodie/extra. One of the ones I'm planning I'm not sure if I can actually do it, so it's not guaranteed.
- There's going to be a big surprise ^^ It doesn't really affect KitClan itself that much, but it was an idea by one of my close friends online, and she's going to try it. I luff this idea, and even if it doesn't work, it'll still be something fun.
Oh, another quick rant: I found an awesome host called Lunar Pages. It supports PHP, you get unlimited sub-domains, a free domain, free scripts, unlimited emails, etc. It sounds excellent and it's only $5 a month, but unfortuanately I can't move to it, because I already paid Freewebs for a year of stuff about a month ago x-(
So what are your New Year's resolutions (if you have any?). I don't really necessarily have any, but I plan to be more outgoing and confident. I'm also (hopefully) going to get a purple streak in my hair and a new winter wardrobe. Oh, and I'm resolving to not bite my nails anymore. It helps when I have nail polish on, because then they don't look so icky. They already look better ^^ *admires her short red nails*
I ran into some friends today at the grocery store, and one of them said Pinchkit sounded like an old man for a second XD *cracks up* She apologized, but it was really funny. I'm running out of things to blog about, so I'm gonna leave now. Oh, wait, I also figured out the perfect warrior name for Lightkit. It's beautiful and perfect, and much better than Lightfeather (in my opinion). Please comment, and guess my new name (if you already know it, no guessing!).
Hold on, I got a brilliant idea to hold a short contest. I'm thinking of a color in the rainbow. Whoever guesses it first gets free advertising on my next post, so make sure to have your website URL there!
